John Deabler - Chairman
John
Deabler founded Swing One, Inc. to create a golf swing training device that
would make learning to play golf easier.
A 1956 graduate of Purdue
University in mechanical engineering, John began selling industrial air
moving equipment as a manufacturer's representative in 1959. As his
business, John W. Deabler, Inc., prospered, he acquired additional lines
and added employees, and his firm expanded to 15 people. To better serve
his customers' needs, he branched out into manufacturing and brokerage
operations as well.
John transferred ownership of
John W. Deabler, Inc. to three employees at the start of 1997. His
status of being semi-retired from that firm allows him the freedom to
pursue his interest in developing golfers and growing the game of golf. |

Stephanie Kossnar - President
Stephanie's
long-pursued interests in the psychology of learning, the development of
instruction and the understanding of the golf swing led her to develop
her "balanced weight shift" theory. Her unique insight into
what constitutes the foundation of an effective swing, and all that goes
into producing one, forms the basis for Swing One, Inc.'s patents on the
SwingWonder® Swing Trainer.
After obtaining a
bachelor's degree from George Williams College with a major in
psychology, she participated in postgraduate classes and workshops in
educational psychology, counseling, and perceptual motor development.
Developing and implementing training became the continuing thread in her
varied work experience in the areas of ergonomics, psychotherapy,
computer consulting and training, and sports psychology.
Her work experience and
enduring enthusiasm for golf led Stephanie to expand her training skills
into the golf domain. In 1995, Jimmy Ballard, an internationally
renowned golf instructor, trained her to teach golf and certified her as
a golf teaching professional for Colbert-Ballard Golf Learning Centers.
As president
of Swing One, Inc. since 1998, she continues to perfect the swing
training capabilities of the SwingWonder® and to position it
in the market place as a successful, universally-accepted golf swing
training tool. |
